: Yes, there was a dive fatality on The Lakeland this past weekend. It was a private boat. All I can say is I heard there was an equipment related problem that started the events leading to the loss of one diver. The accident was looked into by the Door County Sherriff's Department and the Coast Guard.
: It sounded to me that the divers involved were very experienced and had the right equipment. They did everything possible to organize a search and handled it very professionally in a time of duress. My condolences to the family, friends, and all involved.
