Here's a little research project for anyone that's interested:

The steamer A.R. Kellog is widely reported to have been lost by foundering
off Milwaukee in 1909. However, I have never been able to find a definitive
account of the loss (mind you, I haven't really looked that hard in the news
micros and other archives yet, as I don't have even a month.)

Does anyone out there have any additional info. about this accident? I'm
particularly interested in knowing if anyone has the month of the accident
or the specifics. I'd like to research it out further, as it is very lightly reported
and not in any of the common sources. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Possibly a total loss, needs more research.
