As an old K-valve wreck diver of the sixties and a fellow historian, I appreciate your interest, exploration and consideration for the wreck of the Ironsides.
Four years ago I began reading and indexing all articles of historical and personal interest from every Grand Haven Daily Tribune 1891 thru 1907 at present.
I have found much information regarding the Ironsides, including the actual Grand Haven Tribune 1873 article.
I do have an article regarding the location of the bow section.
