She slipped her moorings at Silver Islet on the Sibley Peninsula in Lake Superior and subsiquently beached on the South side of Sand Island (about five miles away). She was broken up there afer years of pounding by the surf. There are a lot of bolts, drifts, steal pins and tools (hammer heads etc.) jamed into the cracks in the rock but I was wondering if anyone has heard of more substantial pieces of wreckage at the site.
