You may find some Steinbrenner information in the Isle Royale srcu study, also at Canal Park Marine Museum in Duluth and at the Thunder Bay historical society musiem in Thunder Bay. As I recall there are some interesting shots of survivors being recovered. I have been in the area the ship when down and there is nothing there but God, Gulls and very deep cold water.
